It has come to the government to make a decision about the issue under concern: the Prime minister of Spain has addressed to the mayor of Barcelona with the requirement to take measures. The reason was the public concern over the pictures of market Boqueria used by tonight escort girls for appointments.
There were police patrols in Barcelona streets which move among crowd of tourists. Before Las-Ramblas was not the basic place of gathering escorts but right now the are moved to another more secluded area. However last years Las-Ramblas have literally flooded ladies from Africa working in escorts industry. The street being one of the main sights of a city and daily involving about 250 thousand of tourists, has seemed to become a good place for making escort business as at night Las-Ramblas is flooded by various tourists, including young men from Great Britain.
However recently begun discussion about introduction of the legislation regulating erotic services, was at a deadlock. Representatives of the power cannot come to a common opinion about regulation methods in any way: one offer that escort services have been legalised also by it licences were granted, others - to put out of the law and to pursue by means of police.
